The king of Latin pop music is happily living his life with his husband, Jwan Yosef, a Syrian-born Swedish painter. The couple is completely managing their him and kids, twins Matteo and Valentino, 12, daughter Lucia, 2, and a son Renn, 1.
In 2010. the singer, officially in the public declared that he is ‘blessed to be who I am.’ Thus, Ricky is a support to all the individuals of the LGBTQ community, especially the ones of the Latino community. Notably, the actor is fear-free and speaks out openly on social media, without worrying about the critics and haters.
Earlier, the pair looked amazing and graced for the cover page of ‘Cap 74024,’ the art, fashion, and eros magazine, and posed sensuously in an adorable shirtless embrace. After this, the singer underwent a lot of anti-gay backlashes and consequently, and thought to address it head-on in a new post.
On his Instagram, while sharing images of himself wearing long acrylic nails the singer noted, “Pause. Today I want to talk to you from my most vulnerable side.” He further mentioned, “A week ago, I uploaded some photos with my husband for a special edition of Cap 74024 Magazine. For both, it was a wonderful experience for both of us to celebrate our pride. What I didn’t expect, especially after all the work that has been done for so many years, is that a large number of people decided to stop following us or comment in a derogatory way.”
Ricky originally wrote his post was in Spanish. He further added and stated, “Of course, it is not the number of followers that worries me, it is the message behind [their] decision that has caused me the same feeling I had years ago before sharing publicly about my sexual orientation. That same fear that paralyzed me, tormented me, and would not let me be.”
