A few days back, Lisa Banes, the famous American Actress, was hit in a scooter accident. Notably, the actress, Lisa died at the age of 65, On Monday. Banes was hospitalized after the hit and run accident and was hospitalized for more than a week in critical condition.
The news of her death was confirmed by Lisa’s manager, David Williams. David noted, “We are heartsick over Lisa’s tragic and senseless passing. She was a woman of great spirit, kindness, and generosity, and dedication to her work, whether on stage or in front of a camera, and even more so to her wife, family, and friends. We were blessed to have had her in our lives.”
Lisa’s wife, Kathryn Kranhold, in an interview on Tuesday, said, ” Lisa loved her work, family, and simple joys like making breakfast and reading a newspaper at home.” She further stated, “Lisa was my love and made me laugh every day.”
Lisa Banes is popularly known as the “Gone Girl.” She is also famous for her notable work in “Cocktail.” The actress was badly injured, when she was struck by a scooter while crossing the street in New York City. The New York Police Department in a statement mentioned, “A 65-year-old woman was injured in a hit-and-run incident Friday just after 6:30 p.m.”
Also the spokesperson of the Police Department, Denise Moroney, that time said, “Police responded to a 911 call about a vehicle collision with a pedestrian at West 64th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan.” The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad clarified that Lisa Banes was calmy and carefully trying to cross Amsterdam Avenue inside the crosswalk.
Also, the pedestrian signals favored her. Then, suddenly, a scooter traveling north on the avenue went through a red light and struck her, knocking her to the roadway. Later, the scooter fled away, and the actress was left injured.
